Teaser Tuesday - Mar 15

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

•Grab your current read
•Open to a random page
•Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
•BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
•Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My teasers:

"Dinah, I am the prince of Shechem, I marry whom I wish, when I wish it. I have waited many years to have you."

p. 26 "Love Amid the Ashes" by
Mesu Andrews

Blessings,

Hi Michelle,

Nice to 'meet' you.

Those are some great teaser lines, had ne intrigued enough to seek out a full synopsis.

Definitely not my usual genre, but I actually really like the sound of this one, and I love the cover art. I may give it a go.

Thanks for the recommendation.

As long as she's up for it, it's good to see someone who knows what he wants.

Yes, this is a Biblical fiction that tells the story of Job, and that is the Dinah from the Old Testament. Who says the Bible is boring?!?!?!

The problem with princes is they never seem to think anyone else's choice matters. Great teaser, though.

So serious and so romantic as well. The girl on the cover looks like the famous unknown girl from the National Geographic issue from years ago. I love the eyes.
