**The publisher has graciously offered a copy of this wonderful book to one lucky winner. Please read through to the end of the post for instructions on the giveaway.**
Dining With Joy is book three in her Lowcountry Romance series. Book one is Sweet Caroline and book two is Love Starts with Elle. I have read and loved all three of them and Rachel has become one of my very favorite authors. I've read every one of her books and I'm always watching to see what she's working on to make sure I don't miss out on anything she might be writing!
I'm a little funny about the books I read. If I know it's something I want to read, like this book, I won't read the blurbs. I personally think that often the back of the book and the blurbs give away too much and I like to be surprised as I read a book. I don't want to know what's going to happen before I even read the book! So, I refused to read anything about this book beforehand. So I didn't even realize it was another book in this series with Caroline and Elle, and I was very pleasantly surprised to see familiar places and characters!
If you read my blog regularly you know I, in turn, do not want to spoil anything for you, so I will not give away plot details. This story is a modern day setting in small community setting where everyone knows everyone and knows everyone's business. Joy is still trying to fill her father's shoes and trying to deal with her past and trying to figure out her future. I love her character. She has a good heart, but she feels stuck and she doesn't know how to get out. I actually know what that feels like, and I have a feeling a lot of us probably do.
I VERY highly recommend this book to anyone. If you haven't read the first two books, don't worry, you won't be lost. But, I would still highly recommend all three books! They're worth it! Dining With Joy will capture you from the start and will keep you glued to the pages to see how it's going to turn out! I think you'll love Joy and her family and you'll be rooting for her. I can't wait to see what's next from Rachel! She also co-writes with Sara Evans and you might check those books out as well! The first book was The Sweet By and By, and the second book in that series is due out soon.

Rachel sent me the second book in this series a while back and I've been wondering when the next one was coming (along with the sequel to the S.E. book!).

Even though I mostly read historical fiction, this intrigues me. The titles of her books are good too - you did a good job of building interest without giving away the story! Thanks for that.

I think it is so interesting that aqnyone would try to have a cooking show without knowing how to cook. That intrigues me!
I am the same way with blurb, and don't like to read a first chapter first to see if I want the book! What if I want the book and have to wait until it is in paperback!
