TLC Blog Tour for "America's Prophet" by Bruce Feiler

America's Prophet: How the Story of Moses Shaped America by Bruce Feiler is absolutely fascinating. If you love history, especially American history, you will love this book.

The author spent two years traveling and researching for this book. It is rich with historical detail and I was amazed by the amount of historical detail that I did not know. And I was amazed at how Moses is quoted and followed over and over throughout American history, in ways I really never would have even thought of before!

The author is Jewish and I really enjoyed his point of view and his personal family stories. He tells history in a way that's fascinating, entertaining and throught-provoking. I think people of all ages, and faiths, would enjoy this book.

I very highly recommend this book to anyone. I enjoy real history and I'm also Christian, so this was extremely enjoyable and thought-provoking for me. I learned so much that I never knew before about American history. It's very well written and told in an entertaining way that you will enjoy. I think it's fascinating that he went on this adventure and did all that he did in order to research this book. I had not read any of his books before but I will be lookiing for them in the future!
