Book Giveaway & Review for Love Finds You In Hershey, Pennsylvania by Cerella D. Sechrist

**At the end of this post you will find details on how to enter to win an autographed copy of this book.**

Love Finds You in Hershey, Pennsylvania by Cerella D. Sechrist is a wonderfully charming book that you will not want to miss!

Two of my very favorite things are books and chocolate. What a wonderful treat to have a book that's set in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Forgive me for being too cheesy but the story is just as sweet as it's namesake!

I truly did love this story. The author has the most wonderful sense of humor. I love a book that gets me to laugh out loud and there were times when I was nearly crying with laughter during this book. The story has a few twists that keep you hanging on and guessing as to what's going to happen. It's the characters that make this story special, in my opinion. In my interview with Cerella, we discussed the importance of characters. I have always felt that a good story is great, but unless I care about the characters, then I'm just not going to care about the story. She has created some absolutely wonderful characters in this story!

I love Sadie, our heroine. She has some delighful quirks that make her so endearing and make me feel like I can totally relate to her at times. And our story's hero, Jasper, well, can you actually fall in love with a fictional character?? Because he stole my heart. And Kylie, who is Sadie's 5 year old daughter is such a typical little child. I love that she isn't a perfectly-behaved little angel because I have two boys and I certainly cannot relate to perfectly well-behaved children!

I have only touched the surface of this wonderful book. It's one you need to read for yourself in order to truly appreciate it. There's family drama and romance as well as faith issues and every day problems that we all face at one time or another. I would highly recommend this book to anyone. It will hook you from the beginning and keep you hooked until the end. I personally could not put it down once I started.

I will not give away any more of the story, so here is a short book summary and some places where you can go to buy the book. This is one you're going to want to buy.

Book Summary:

Chef Sadie Spencer has learned that in life, as well as in food, sour balances sweet. After returning to her deliciously charming hometown of Hershey with a young daughter in tow, Sadie has managed to rise from the ashes following the death of her husband, the passing of her mother, and the dissolution of her career as a TV chef. With the help and encouragement of her best friend, Jasper, she opens a restaurant and looks forward to savoring the sweet side of life. That is, until a handsome Russian entrepreneur arrives in town, apparently intent on opening up his own restaurant in direct competition to hers. Sadie becomes obsessed with honing the one skill she’s never had – creating desserts – to keep up with her adversary, and in the process, she finds a love that’s simply icing on the cake.

I just saw this book in my local Christian bookstore yesterday and read some other reviews last night. The story sounds great.

I'm a fan of Summerside Press's Love Finds You line, which is filled with consistently good reads, both historical and contemporary.

Great review, Michelle. This was my first visit to your blog. I'm adding it to my Google reader.
